Description
Our house is a corner of paradise in the centre of Opatija, surrounded by the greenery of our garden, which isolate it from neighbours and traffic noise. This makes it the perfect place for a totally relaxing holiday, easily accessible, just a few hours' drive away from anywhere in Europe.
Stepping out of the lush garden, all amenities are just a stone's throw away: herb market, fish market, butcher's, bakery, post office, bank, pharmacy and plenty of cafes and restaurants, as well as an amazing 25 km seaside promenade and plenty of beaches.
Buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries tell its history, the years when Opatija hosted European nobility on holiday by the sea.
To recreate the Mitteleuropean spirit that reigns in our town, to give our house a soul, we have added to the essential, modern furnishings, pieces of antique furniture that belonged to our family in the past century.
Opatija is a seaside town, lying at the foot of a lush green mountain and bathed by a deep blue sea.
To be able to admire all the beauty of a seaside town, to understand its soul, to get in touch with its people, one must visit it from the sea. A boat trip along its shores is a must.

Set in a house within an incredibly lush and spectacular garden, in a quiet, green setting yet just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, this stylish, very comfortable and spotlessly clean flat features a terrace from which you can even catch a glimpse of the sea. The hosts’ boundless kindness only added to the idyllic atmosphere.

Quel bonheur d’avoir trouvé ce petit bijou d’appartement dans la belle ville d’Opatija, que nous fréquentons depuis de nombreuses années ! C’est un véritable havre de paix, situé dans un quartier central et très sympathique. Aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipé, il est parfait pour loger 3 personnes. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Le parking sur place est une chose bien rare par ici et très appréciable.
Commerces, marché central et jolies petites plages sont à 5 min à pied, ainsi que le magnifique théâtre-cinéma de plein air des jardins d’Angiolina.
Excellents restaurants (dont Istranka, à moins de 2 min).
Trois jours étaient bien trop courts, c’est notre seul regret… Nous reviendrons !

Будинок був дуже затишний і комфортний. Його оточує гарний, доглянутий сад, а місцевість тиха й спокійна — ідеальне місце для відпочинку. До моря зовсім близько, що є великою перевагою. Усе було чудово підготовлено. Господиня була надзвичайно привітна й доброзичлива, завжди цікавилася, чи нам чогось не потрібно, і дбала про наш комфорт. Від щирого серця рекомендуємо це місце!

Ein kleines Paradies!
Dieses Apartment hat uns von Anfang an begeistert. Es ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts.
Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft: total ruhig, und trotzdem hat man Lokale, Supermärkte und Cafés in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Meer erreicht man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß.
Aleksandra, die Vermieterin, ist eine unglaublich herzliche, zuvorkommende und sehr bemühte Frau. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an rundum wohl.
Wer eine schöne Zeit in Opatija verbringen möchte: unbedingt hier buchen! Wir empfehlen es wärmstens weiter und freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen.

Очень радушные хозяева, апартаменты находятся в тихом месте , выход из них прямо в сад. Три минуты ходьбы до супермаркета и до центральной улицы с ресторанами . В самих апартаментах было чисто , имелось все необходимое для проживания. Хороший интернет. Хозяева очень внимательные , в виде приветствия подарили бутылку вина и приятный презент при отъезде. Мы провели у них три дня . С удовольствием бы вернулись снова . Спасибо

The Secret Garden Apartment has surpassed our expectations. It has a spacious living room with full-fledged kitchen, a nice sleeping room, a comfortable bathroom and two toilets. Surrounded by a beautiful garden with roofed terrace, it’s situated in the center, but quiet. For those who like to cook there is a local market around the corner (including two stands with daily fish catch). The beaches are just some minutes by foot away, as are the numerous restaurants, cafés and bars. Once you have arrived and left the car on the included free parking space, you don’t need it anymore.
Alexandra and Giovanni, our hosts, were extremely friendly and helpful, but unobstrusive.
We look forward to return.
