Vodnjan is a small town, outside of the historic city Pula, is known for it's Roman history and numeroush dry- stone built hosues and castels. The majority of population has maintained the old crafts of olive oil and wine production. Vodnjan is known for it's highes bell tower n Istria. While Vodnjan (or Dignano) is not located on the sea, you are just 10 minutes away from the beach.
Make a day trip to 12 km far Pula or Rovinj (26 km), to visit the numerous cultural and historic landmarks of both cities.
