The surrounding area allows for endless exploring of Croatian natural wonders. National Park Mljet is on the island reachable by ferry. And the infamous Dubrovnik is 40 kilometers southeast and most definitely worth a visit. Formed in seventh century and since scarred by many of its rulers today Dubrovnik displays a rich cultural history and historical significance. Protected by UNESCO pedestrian only charming Old Town is enveloped in 10th century city walls, 2 kilometers in length, in some parts 6 meters tall. It is a must stroll! Stradun, or Dubrovnik’s placa, is a picturesque street lined with cafés and restaurants, a perfect viewpoint to admire the architecture and watch the world go by while enjoying fresh catch of the day and sipping on a glass of Malvazija. For transparency: please account for 300 euro security deposit to be paid upon arrival directly to the host and returned upon departure, subject to inspection. Pool heating is available for 18 euro per night. Pets are welcome upon request with an additional 10 euro per night pet fee. The rental of 1 kayak and 2 stand-up paddleboards is 100 euros per week, with unlimited use included. Please no groups of under 25 years of age.
