Description

A charming Adriatic villa displaying the authentic architecture of the area. Equally beautiful inside and out it proudly shows off the use of the unique Croatian limestone in many of its features. The built in BBQ with an al-fresco dining table provides an ideal opportunity for quality time with loved ones and the large pool surrounded by umbrella-shaded loungers ensures leisurely time for all. Comfortable and covered lounge area is provided for your enjoyment as well as a bar area with bar stools and a beverage refrigerator. Villa Antiq is located on a quiet street yet only steps away from cafés, restaurants, some of the most beautiful beaches in the area and all the necessary traveler conveniences.

With three en suite bedrooms six guests are easily accommodated.

Cavtat is a holiday resort destination 18 kilometers south of Dubrovnik voted, in fact, as one of the top European destinations in 2021. It is best known for its beaches, but it does however hold an important place in cultural history of the area. Local customs, folk costumes and traditional embroidery is integrated in locals’ daily lives and can be witnessed in a village Čilipi eight kilometers away. Here a local museum exhibits such examples and the summer festival displays cultural performances and traditional dances. Cavtat invites you to relax, eat well, enjoy the landscape, take a soothing swim, a scenic walk and to simply enjoy life. And if you’re looking for more action, hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik is just 25 min away.

Please note: There is no parking on site. If guests require parking, prior to arrival and with notice, a host can arrange for a parking permit in a secured public parking 300 meters away.

For transparency: please account for 600 euro security deposit to be paid upon arrival directly to the host and returned upon departure, subject to inspection. Please no groups of under 25 years of age.

We had an amazing stay - thank you . The house and pool area are just stunning . The owners literally provide everything you could possibly need during your stay - dressing gowns , spare towels , washing machine with tablets etc . We loved the fact we were in the centre of Cavtat and yet the house was very quiet and peaceful . Everything is accessible on foot within minutes . perfect ! There is no need for a car as there are so many things to do in Cavtat and regular ferries run to Dubrovnik . We can’t wait to return x

We are a family of 6 adults who have just returned from Villa Antiq and can say it was one of the best holidays we have had. The villa is in the most beautiful location in Cavtat old town, with stunning views and close proximity to wonderful restaurants and bars. It is a wonderful restoration of an old Croatian Villa, which has been brought up to date with all the luxury fixtures you could want. The most special area is the outside pool and bar/kitchen. It is the most relaxing space to spend time whether in the heat of the day or the in the evening looking out over the lights in the bay. Marija and George are charming hosts who are most welcoming and happy to share recommendations with you. We will definitely be making a return trip. It is worth noting that the old town is pedestrianised, and there are 60 odd steps up to the villa so may not be suitable for older or infirm guests .. however it is so worth the effort.

This house was simply the best of everything - The best location near town, the best amenities and setup for large groups, and the best mix of modern design features with classic local architecture. Our group of 6 had a wonderful trip to Cavtat, and will definitely look to come back here again!

A beautiful villa in a great location in Cavtat. Some sea views from the pool area and upper floors of the 3 storey villa. Note that you need to be able to walk up some steep steps from the town to the villa. The hosts/owners are very welcoming and helpful. The pool 'house' area is particularly comfortable and well appointed, with ceiling fans that are very welcome on the hot days if you want to be out of the sun. Highly recommended for a stay in Cavtat.

Our special family get-together was made all the more perfect by the villa, which was as beautiful and comfortable as we had hoped it would be, as well as the warmth and attentiveness of its owners - George, Marija and their family (especially Tino). Great villa in an amazing location in Cavtat. Just a short walk (via a number of steps) to an unrivalled choice of restaurants in the lovely marina where boat trips to Dubrovnik run every 30 minutes. The pool and outdoor facilities were amazing for us and our three young children, with a bar area and fridge for drinks. Also close to a beach bar on the opposite side which leads to a watersports facility where there are jet skis, parasailing etc. Not much further was a pebble beach with a large sea inflatable obstacle course - again great fun for the kids. Also for those who are more adventurous, there is a great hike up the nearby hills to a 701m mountain which provided a great view of the area.

The villa is extremely beautiful, stylish, so well thought-out and included lots of thoughtful details and amenities. Gorgeous pool and landscaped garden, easy access to the local shops and restaurants and plenty of space for a family of 4. Marija and her family were so accommodating and friendly, we will be back as soon as we can, without a doubt! 10/10!
