Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions („Booking Terms“) set out the basis on which Amando d.o.o. („Amando“) will provide accommodation and other products and services at its premises („Casa Amando“ as defined below) and Guests (as defined below). By making a Booking (as defined below) the Customer agrees to comply with these Conditions.



"Booking" means the reservation of accommodation, products and services by the Customer detailed in the Booking which is accepted by Casa Amando. 

“Booking Details” means the details of the Booking including the number of guests, the number of rooms required, the duration of the Guests’ stay at Casa Amando and any other products and/or services to be included in the Booking

“Customer” means the person or legal entity who makes the Booking.

“Charges” means the charges payable by the Customer in connection with the Booking

“Amando” means Amando d.o.o. (registered company number 63397127137) that operates the Casa Amando Boutique Guesthouse.

“Contract” means the contract between the Customer and Amando in relation to the Booking

“Guests” means the Customer and any third parties they invite to Casa Amando in connection with the Booking

“Casa Amando” means the Casa Amando Boutique Guesthouse owned or operated by Amando d.o.o. the location of which is specified in the Booking

"Website" means or (Casa Amando’s online booking system operated by myRent) 



2.1 All Bookings at Casa Amando are subject to these Booking Terms.

2.2 Customers request or make Bookings via Casa Amando’s website. 

2.3 When requesting or making Bookings, Customers will be required to provide identification information including, but not limited to, their name, address, contact telephone number and email address.

2.4 At the time of booking Customers will be required to provide their credit/debit card details and the Customer authorises the use of this card for any sums that become owing to Casa Amando. 

2.5 No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in the Booking Details have been provided.



3.1 The Charges will be as displayed on Casa Amando’s Website or as quoted by Casa Amando to the Customer upon the Customer’s request for a Booking.

3.2 Unless otherwise agreed by Casa Amando, the Charges only cover the provision of accommodation at Casa Amando and the Customer may incur additional charges including, without limitation, charges for meals, private parking and City Tax (the “Additional Charges”).

3.3 Customers will be informed of the amount of the Additional Charges before they are incurred.

3.4 Bookings will be subject to the Customer (1) making payment of the Charges in full in advance or, at Amando’s option, paying a booking fee and/or deposit; and (2) providing valid Debit or Credit Card details via which payment of the Charges or the balance of the Charges (as the case may be) and any Additional Charges can be taken at Casa Amando or at the time of booking.

3.5 If not prepaid in full at time of booking the balance of the Charges will be charged automatically by Amando according to the cancellation policy in clause 4, from the card used when making the reservation. Any Additional Charges must be paid either as they are incurred or, at Amando’s option, upon the Customer checking out at Casa Amando.

3.6 Casa Amando reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards without any written approval from the Customer.

3.7 The following payment methods are accepted by Amando

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and DISVOCER)
  • Debit cards (Maestro)
  • Bank transfer (within Croatia only)

3.8. Amando uses WSPay for online payments. WSPay is a secure system for online payments, real time credit and debit card payments, and other payment methods. WSPay ensures the buyer and the merchant with the secure card data entry and transfer, which is also confirmed by PCI DSS certificate. WSPay uses 256-bit SSL encryption and TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol as the highest protection standards for data entry and transfer



4.1 The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked.  The Customer shall refer to the individual full rate descriptions given in the Booking Details.

4.2 Rates marked as “FIRM - free cancellation before 30 days” - These are 100% refundable up to 30 days prior the day of arrival minus possible transaction-related credit card fees. Amando requires full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the Booking and prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking. After the relevant time cancellation and non-arrival, all Charges applicable to that Booking remain payable in full.

4.3. Rates marked as “NON-REFUNDABLE” -  These are non-refundable and non-changeable. Amando requires full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the Booking and prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking. In the event of cancellation of the Booking, all Charges applicable to that Booking remain payable in full.

4.4 Subject to clause 4.3, the Customer may cancel the Booking without charge if notice is given to Casa Amando within the 24-hour grace period after the booking has beed made. In which case Amando will refund to the Customer all sums paid by the Customer in advance minus possible transaction-related credit card fees.

4.5 Amando may at any time cancel a Booking if Casa Amando becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside Amando’s control in which case Amando will pay the Customer a full refund of any Charges and any booking fee paid.

4.6 Amando may at any time cancel the Booking if the payment details provided by the Customer in accordance with clause 3.4 are invalid and the Customer fails to provide alternative valid details.



5.1. Special check-in instructions apply: Casa Amando provides self check-in only and here is no front desk. Guests are  kindly asked to carefully read the self check-in and parking instructions as well as the smart lock details.

5.2 Check-in time at Casa Amando: any time after 15:00 hrs.  

Earlier check-in times may be available subject to prior request with Casa Amando and subject to the full range of services and facilities at Casa Amando not being available until the standard check in time.

5.3 Check-out time at Casa Amando is until 11:00 hrs. 

Later check-out times may be possible by prior request with an additional charge and subject to availability (In the absence of such prior request, failure to check-out by 11:00 hrs may result in the Customer being charged for an additional night’s accommodation at the standard applicable rate).



6.1 Personal information for registration: The provision of valid identification data is required at least 8 hours prior to arrival. Guests will be provided a link to the online registration form via e-mail and are kindly asked to submit the required data for every single person staying at Casa Amando, including children.

6.2 Guest behaviour: Customers are required to conduct themselves and ensure that their Guests conduct themselves in a reasonable and responsible manner at Casa Amando and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in Guests being asked to leave Casa Amando in which event all Charges and Additional Charges shall become immediately payable by the Guest.

6.3 No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside Casa Amando and only in the designated outdoor smoking area.

6.4 Damage: The Customer will be responsible for any loss or damage caused at Casa Amando by Guests or visitor of the Guest. The Guest may be liable for Amando’s reasonable cost of repairing, cleaning or replacing any property of Casa Amando which is damaged, soiled or lost by a Guest.

6.5 No Pets: Pets are NOT allowed at Casa Amando.

6.6 Children & Minors: (1) Amando does not accept bookings made by those under the age of 18. Under 18’s must be accompanied and supervised by an adult over 18 years. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in automatic Cancellation with no refund given.

(2) Extra baby cots are available on request for some room types. However, those are limited and subject to availability. 



7.1 Unless otherwise agreed by Casa Amando, the Charges do not include any food or drink.

7.2 Guests may consume coffee, tea, milk, olive oil, spices etc. provided in the shared kitchen at no additional costs.



8.1 Unfortunately Casa Amando is not suitable for disabled Guests. At the entrance there are two steps. One room is on the ground floor without further stairs, all other rooms and apartments are only accessible via stairs without lift.



9.1 Amando will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in Casa Amando other than as required under the Croatian law or any other applicable law. 

9.2 Amando will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or pure economic loss or any loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity (whether caused by the negligence of Amando, its employees, contractor or agents or otherwise). Amando’s total liability shall not exceed the value of the charges received by it under the Contract.

9.3 Amando shall not be responsible for the death of, or personal injury of any Customer or Guest or any other person at Casa Amando unless this results from the proven negligence of Amando or Amando’s employees.



10.1 Amando accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures. 



11.1 The Contract and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with it are governed by Croatian law.

11.2 The Croatian courts have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising in connection with the Contract, including disputes relating to any non-contractual obligations.

11.3 Each party irrevocably waives any objection which it may now or later have to proceedings being brought in the Croatian courts (on the grounds that the Croatian courts are not a convenient forum or otherwise).



12.1 All personal information stored and used by Amando is done so in accordance with our Privacy Policy.



13.1 The Customer’s rights as a consumer under consumer protection legislation from time to time in force shall not be affected by these Booking Terms.

13.2 Amando may transfer its rights and obligations under the Contract to another organisation but will always inform the Customer if this happens and this will not affect the Customer’s rights under the contract.

13.3 Amando may, from time to time, change these Booking Terms without notice. However, the version of these Booking Terms in force at the time of the Booking will continue to apply to the Contract. Customers are advised to check Amando’s website for the latest version of these Booking Terms before making a Booking.

13.4 No failure by Amando to enforce these Booking Terms shall constitute a waiver of the right to subsequently enforce that provision or any other provision of these Booking Terms. Such failure shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach and shall not constitute a continuing waiver.

13.5 If any provision of these Booking Terms is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these Booking Terms and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.
